Hi,
Well I've had the same experience of this company. I've tried to deal with them over 2 years but never get a reply. Quite why they give an email address in their contact details is a total mystery to me. My experience is that several US companies simply dont want to deal with the UK several have used the excuse that the VAT regulations here are too complex. Given Vat does not effect them and is paid by the receiving customer as import duty on orders over £100 I believe its just apolicy they have. The smaller companies seem to cope well and do a good service.

Try WoodTurningz they have some of the PSI kits as well as others. They will also quote on PSI products that are not on their website. I've gotten quotes from them for PSI products (provide the PSI product codes), they are very helpful and always respond to my emails.

If you are ordering from the website (stock items) it will tell you the shipping cost in the shopping cart.

Just checked and the lowest shipping cost to UK/Scotland is $US17.95 plus $US1.25 Insurance ( same as Australia ). At that cost the flatrate box will hold about 20 blanks in volume (my last order, full box, 2 rows x 10 blanks, rifle clips and center bands).

I was there on Friday. They were still trying to work with a single generator. Like most folks in this area, they are trying their best to stay open and provide service. This may be the reason you have not heard from them.

They are located in Philadelphia PA and might still not have power restored from last weeks hurricane.

Thats a fair point Smitty and indeed thoughts with all who have suffered through Sandy. I have to say though my experience pre dates those events and is not good........ does feedback ever reach these companies. I guess its fine to complain but maybe they should have an invite to reply here........

Phone's are great but timelines are a problem Europe to USA. Question remains why publish an email as a contact when clearly its not reviewed or reponded to. I'm sure this works both ways. I'm almost manic about checking my email and responding. After all it's only polite to respond...... if someone spoke to you would you ignore it, or respond in whatever manner?
