After having tried a number of ideas for having the turning tools available at the lathe, it might be nice to share ideas. There's always got to be a better way

I have tried a few. Finally, after getting very tired of the tools laying on top of the bench, and gaining inspiration from the five gallon bucket wired up with conduit from Greg, I came up with the idea of a lazy susan holder.

I had an 18" lazy susan for painting small objects, and a wooden post for a vise I never mounted to it. Drill a few holes. Add some conduit, and viola.....

Any other ideas out there?

I use a tray under the lathe to hold the working tools and a 5 gallon bucket with a bucket boss liner to hold the tools not being used. I also need a better system.

I Love when people take my 1/2-baked ideas and fully bake them. That is a great solution!

Maybe Mr. Brooks will post pictures of his holder. It is another great and fully-bake doc idea.

Gk
