Insurance Broker likes pens

I spent a few hours yesterday going over plan options with the health insurance rep. I notice (eventually) that, he's holding a wood pen. I asked if I could see it? He handed it to me and, I look at it and, I'm wondering if this is a new kit I haven't seen yet. I looked at the finial and noticed some engraving around it. Under better lighting, I could make it out. It is a Montegrappa. The pen had a really nice finish. I was interested in the way the center band was shaped. I like it.

Anyways.....I didn't know what forum to put this in but, wanted to share it. It is the first Montegrappa I've ever held in my hand.

Well how was the fit and finish? Im sure you scribbled a note or two, how did it write compared to pens you've made?
