I saw some Photographs of Lace making bobbins and they inspired me to make this pen. I know nothing about Lace making you can probably tell that.
But this is my first effort the Wood is Bocote the finish Friction Polish/Microcrystalline Wax.
It may not look it but the pen is quite comfortable to hold.

I won't be for some, but I think the striped woods like Bocote are fun to turn with extra curves and shape since the effect is always interesting.

Nicely done !!

I especially like the quite symmetric patterning you have achieved on both barrels ! . The straight grain allows that quite nicely !!
