Very nicely done Cody! I like your wood selection.

Have seen these done but just haven't tried one yet.
I have also seen where some have turned a tiny Christmas tree and mounted it inside.

Beautiful job Cody! It just became #142 on my to do "play" list:)

The timber selection is excellent and the turning is great. Are these quicker than bird houses? I usually plod along and spend 2-3 hours for each of those in staged times. (Ma always said I'm slow:eek:).

Thanks for the pic!

I plan on doing some like that, I did not think that I had enough room on this one.

Actual work time probably totaled 1-2 hours, hard to tell with two different glue ups. Adding a piece to the center will certainly add time.

Very nice Cody!

I tried 2 of them this year - the first one blew up on me on the second turning & the next one wasn't symmetrical enough after I finished. I have a third one glued up & ready, but I probably won't get back to it until after Christmas.
