Have a Carbatec 3xl lathe. Looks just like a PSI lathe. Needing to change the headstock spindle but can find any literature to help me. Any point me in the right direction?

How about some photos of what your problem is and maybe a description of the problem. By doing that someone may be able to give you some ideas.

Best bet might be to contact PSI. They have a Carba in the showroom/workshop. Ask for Jeff...maybe he can help you.
