Sorry mate an entry into that competition you quote as a byline the lessor of two ideas, not enough skin not enough matching with the distressed look however its only a blank to make a new pen.

I happen to like all your pens up till this one mate.

Kind regards Peter.

Hope this doesn't offend... NOT a good match.

Different eras! different materials! different color schemes... BUT, I'd use it as a daily pen at my school!!!

Sorry...U asked! (The fit and finish was nice...)

I also admire your other pens... so nothing personal

I am not easily offended if ever. Thanks for the insight.

Honestly, it does not do much for me... I think that the casting looks great (I am not too good at that, lol). It is an interestig idea, though....maybe "distress"/ darken the metal next time, and then cut the snakeskin into strips?
I do like everything else I have seen, and would be proud to carry this one (good conversation starter!).

On the Contrary, I think it is a Fantastic Pen, Phil.
Over the years I have lost a number of superb pens,
Permanently borrowed, by someone or ones, whose needs they considered were considerably greater than mine.
This pen is definitely the answer.
I think it is truly, "A Thief Proof Pen".
Obviously, your good wife also has excellent taste.
Brian.
