I have been taking a digital photography class this week and gave the instructor a modified Ambrosia Maple slimline. I asked him to take a picture of the pen so I could see what a professional would do with one of my pens. While I felt it was a fairly mundane pen, I was amazed at how nice he made it look.

Here are a few of his pictures

The photographer sure did a nice job. Did you learn how to take similar pictures?

I learned many of the techniques that he used and should be able to take better pen pictures. My other photography is certainly better. However, he has years and years of practice in creating the best lighting, composing his shots, and photo editing.

Excellent! However.......in the first picture, I was looking at the one piece of wood with the curly grain. I thought that it would make a nice pen, too!
