I have been trying to create a method to create a true diamond pattern. I didn't want squares simply rotated 90 degrees to give the illusion of a diamond, but again true diamonds. Here's my latest result. Hopefully it doesn't blow up on me while turning. It should retain the diamond pattern, the points should stay sharp, at least that's the plan. I'm not turning it right away, I'm giving the epoxy plenty of time to cure.

Points look sharp, L better than R, but just a smidgen - Admittedly this is at blank depth, at bushing depth it may get better (or worse). It's a piece of chocolate, and I've eaten many chocolates....

The diamonds look to be true diamonds as you intended. Well done Ken.

I love the symmetry for the top/bottom end points to be evenly spaced. The finished turning I suspect will be beautiful.

Very, very nice. 👏 👏 👏 .

Nicely done! I enjoy making diamond shapes because true diamonds take some special precision. You've done well, I look forward to seeing the turned blank.

I'm thinking the diamonds will blend into the black spacer material. You're right though it could look worse. This one is proof of concept, I'll work on the precision 😬

WOW Ken great work and accuracy in those diamonds.

Had my second jab yesterday , got the Pfizer one, these are the guys who gave us "Viagra " so was optimistic for a decent side effect !

Nothing , nada , soooo disappointed but hey 🤷‍♂️

glad to know that it's finally getting up to speed over there at last. Only a slight twinge in the shoulder at the injection site for me and that's not a side effect it's purely the injection itself

I had a sore arm for a day or two from the first, hopefully the second one follows suit.
