IMHO - The IAP has MANY great members!

Picked up the mail this afternoon and found one of those great boxes in the mail box. You know the kind - the ones usually filled with pen parts or blanks:biggrin:! However, this one was slightly different. It was addressed to my 10 year old son. His eyes looked like as he opened it and found almost 20 really cool pen blanks (he has already traded one with his sister).

This was not part of a prize he won from the BASH. It is just something a member here at the IAP wanted to do.

Sometime last year my daughter also received a box of blanks that she did not win in a contest . . . .

I could tell a couple of other stories as well.

There are many kind and generous folks here at the IAP. And that, my friends, is just one of the reasons that the IAP is one if the best darn sites in the universe!

It would be nice to be able to help out kids who like to turn but do not have the money to. Does IAP have something like that where we can send a packeage to a kid?

Dennis,
You can make a box of blanks and offer it in the "Deals Trades Gifts & Wants" section.
You could go into the bash and see the children entries and just contact the poster by PM.
I know from personal contact that the kids really like to recieve boxes and some of the notes I have recieved back make it all worth while.
