Due to my leg surgery it has been almost a month with no shop time and it's driving me crazy. It would be different if I hurt and couldn't walk but I am feeling fine, better than in years. I see the doc again the first of the week and am hoping to get turned loose then.

Pun intened right?! Take a nice pen with you to your appointment and when he compliments you on it tell him you would have made one for him but you haven't been able to get in the shop due to doctors orders. My guess is he'll prescribe you a couple hours in the shop as part of your rehab!

I can fully understand where you are at. I have been so busy the last few weeks that I have been unable to turn as well. This weekend is looking real good though. We made sure we did the lawn work tonight so this weekend should be perfect. Best of luck to you on your Dr. visit.

I know what your going thru. I had eye surgery this last monday and I'm going nuts just sitting around and can't do anything. I'm not even suppose to be on the computer.

WITH 4 SURGERIES LAST YEAR IT GETS OLD, BUT I AM A HAM RADIO OPERATOR SO HAD THE RADIO AND EVERRYTHING BY THE BED, 3 HERNIAS, AT 2 DIFFERENT TIMES ONE C7REMOVED EARLER THIS YEAR HOPE NO MORE

Take, be careful and follow any therapeutic instructions. I will spare you the litany of events of my ankle. Just be careful and I pray and wish the best for you. Let's get cured and have some fun.

I hear ya and it's no fun. After cancer surgery last year I was down for 4 months, started back in the shop after 2...verrryyyyy slowly. You'll get there and football starts in August!

I know it can get you down, but better to be patient and not have any problems. Sure beats having to redo anything just because you got stir crazy. Think up new designs and make lists of things that you want to do when your are completely healed.

Between drawing and rehabbing, I've been burning the candle and both ends and starting 2 flames in the middle. Haven't had a chance to go out to the shop in weeks and weeks. There's a box of 20 LauLau kits just sitting next to the computer mocking me...
