Yesterday, I received a large box filled with pen blanks I can use. A friend in Florida sent them to me, but she did not include identifying information on several of the blanks.
I have three "groups" of blanks I need help identifying. I'm not exactly sure how to categorize them here, so I'll just try to post three separate messages to this thread...and call them "Exhibit A," "Exhibit B," and "Exhibit C." Exhibits A & B seem to all be the seme kind of wood in each, but Exhibit C is a collection of 6 blanks I can't seem to identify.

1. Exhibit A -- 3 blanks, all of which have some kind of "coating" on them, almost as though they were stabilized. Can you take a peek at these and let me know what they are?
More mysteries forthcoming (if I can figure out how to post them here.)

Finally, Exhibit C -- a variety of wood blanks.

Thanks for looking and trying to help me "demystify" this collection of pen blanks.
