Well , for sure most of us wouldn`t know what to call it , let alone know how to or be able to make it !! An excellent demonstration of your skills . What is the material ?

The sphere is birch.I'm trying to lear how to something along the lines of https://sites.google.com/site/tourdeforcewoodturning/projects/project-g
Trying to do so freehand is proving difficult.The next step is to do one with the outer masses cored out a bit.Not sure about undercutting it cause I like the arches inside.
