IAP Recruitment Ideas

While I was at the Woodworking Show in Atlanta today, an idea struck me. I was hanging out at the CSUSA display and looking over their pens. I got to talking with some of the other people buying blanks and kits and stuff ..... and told them about IAP. I probably talked with ten or so people about coming to penturners.org. I wish I had some flyers or pamphlets to leave around the tables promoting IAP.

I wonder if we could come up with a one page flyer about IAP and leave it as a downloadable pdf file. That way an IAP member could download ... print off a bunch of copies ... and distribute them at woodworking or woodturning shows or wherever.

Wouldn't it also be nice if we could get CSUSA, Rockler, Woodcraft and others retailers to include a little blurb about us in their catalogs?

Just some thoughts I wanted to share. Any other ideas?

I am sure suppliers (who are in the right frame of mind) will agree...after all, this hobby is called an "addiction" for a reason. [][}]

Doc, you're always thinking (that's a good thing right?). Marvellous suggestion and a one page .pdf file would be just the ticket.
