It's a very nice looking pen, but just looking at it and wondering how much work went into is is mind boggling, at least to my old brain.

It was a lot of work, but not as much as it appears. I created four blanks by gluing together oak and various veneers. Then sliced thin pieces off the ends and glued then together to form the patterns. Used lots of thin CA! I'm in the process of making another one which I think will be better than this one since I learned a number of tricks on this one.
