I currently have a "WANTED" ad up for a specific color of Bakelite. I found only one person willing to sell, and happily acquired a single blank of the desired color.

Then…then this happened. Roy pops up on a PM, teasing me with the fact that he has my desired Bakelite, but refuses to sell!! His terms are that I must accept it as a gift and am not even given the opportunity to pay shipping!! (He did ask to see the finished pen!) Days later, look what shows up in my mailbox:

Thanks ROY!! I realize this came from your private stash, and happened as result of a friendship that developed here on IAP, with never a face-to-face meeting. This points up the value we all can gain, being part of the IAP family. I felt compelled to share it publicly. It is IAP Aloha!

I too have beem the beneficiary of an IAP member's generosity. Edgar Dohman - thanks again. It was so very nice of you. Just turned a pen with a Pecan blank you sent me.
