I was looking forward to Friday getting here, my day off at the church, so that I could get out in the garage. Because of all the stuff going on with Cody and 65+ days of 100-110 degree days, I have not been able to turn a pen in about three months. It looks like I will have to wait because our kids babysitter will not be able to keep the kids on Friday now. I'm not sad though, because of what Cody had been through and at such a young age, I cherish and look forward to each moment that I get with my kids now, not that I didn't before but when you minister to a family that went through what he did, you perspective changes.
I do hope that in the next week, that I will have a chance to get out to the garage to turn a pen or two. Turning pens for me is a stress relief. Not sure what kind of pen that I want to turn or the blank that I want to use but I have a few days to find the perfect blank. I might have to check out exotic blanks or mequiteman's websites to find that blank, since this will be my first pen since Cody was called home.
Thanks for listening to me ramble, I love my IAP family. You guys are great.
