Here are a few of his lastest cocobolo peppermills... i think he's got the process down! peppermills 70-73
I think he has some more to do...yes when the pile is done there will like 100
pen blanks

finish is mylands sealer, them 3 or 4 coats of mylands friction polish, then carnuaba wax

Great looking pieces. Do you know what size blanks he starts out with? Cocobolo is beautiful wood.

He tries to start out with 3x3x13 because you have to cut a tenon in the blank for the top to stay on the body... and a 12 in blank is not long enough to make a 12 inch peppermill.
