I need a blank, can someone please help me?

I was at a show this weekend and a customer asked for a certain blank.

She described it described it like this.


"wood with a bit more character/unique grain, ideally in warmer brown/red tones vs yellow."

If someone has such a blank threes could sell me I would be thankful.

How about cocobolo? That is reddish brown, warm color with a little other colors.

The instructions call for a min of 5/8" X 2 1/4".

If it is a longer blank and I can get another pen out of it great. I am to meet her Dec 1 with a pen.

It is a little darker than the pic shows, you can also put some BLO(boiled linseed oil) to darken it a bit

In that case you need to find out what he shoots and look at the stock on that very seriously.

That's why I'm a fan of Vasticola or Red Malle Burl. Half the price and equally as interesting.
