Too bad I didn't realize until after assembly the end fittings were tapered. Whoops!

I gave it to my daughter when I was done. That's her in the background of the first pic waiting impatiently... heehee

The blank is CastinCraft with purple PearlEx, just a small amount barely swirled after the MEKP was mixed in. When the blanks were drilled I painted the insides of the holes with white enamel to get that beautiful white background.

That turned out very nice. Great idea about painting the hole white. Was there a reason to paint the whole instead of the tube? (I'm still learning tricks to this art.)

If you paint the tubes, you see the glue and any flaws. Painting the holes presents a nearly flawless color.
