I love free wood!

While rumaging through the trash bins at a local wood shop I found several pieces of Koa sandwiched in between two pieces of Walnut. Enough for about 10 pens or so. Decided the first pen from it needed to be a Sierra. Mylands three step, TSW and Ren Wax.

Yeah, free wood is great. my dad owens a lawn care business and is all the time triming trees and branches. I get to keep all of it i want.[]
all it cost me is the end grain sealer. also nice pen

koa is nice stuff, had a friend give me a small piece of koa burl last week good for 1 pen.

I love FREE...any free stuff is good [] and free wood is one of the best.
