Outstanding! My grandson finished a penturning class this evening. A couple of pens the fellow showed me were the Slimline pens with a long one piece blank. I also found out that the Fisch drill bits are longer than the regular bits for pen turning. He said that the Fisch bit will go completely through a long blank. Got that on my "must have" list.

It may be me, but I have found that while the Fisch bit clears itself much better than most is longer, I have had more issues with it wandering, which I now believe was from following grain. I keep working with, but have had issues with consistency for what I spent on the bit.
