I don't know if anyone is interested but as my wife and I was leaving Franklin N.C. a couple weeks ago I noticed a sign that said "hardwood, domestic and exotic". We turned around and pulled in to see what they had and I was amazed. They had wood of any shape and size and more varieties than I have ever seen in one place. One example would be purpleheart from 1"x 1" x12" to 3"x 24" x 13'. Then the owner showed me a building 3 times the size of the first. Here's the kicker, he doesn't take credit cards and doesn't ship - pick up only. I have his phone number and address, and stock list if anyone is interested.

I meant to visit the place, as I was up at John C Campbell last week, but forgot to check it out. The name of the place is in the wood turning studio as a resource for people looking for wood.

The name of the place is "Franklin Wood Warehouse". They also have some of the prettiest Zebra wood I have ever seen.
