I hate to cut these up

I've started to cut these a few times. I know a lot of places these aren't much, but for around here, they're pretty nice. Maybe I'll wait until next week to cut them.

I was taught that if you kill it you clean it and you eat it. I don't eat the horns, but I have been hanging coffee cups, hats, shirts and jackets, and once coming back down the ladder, a fairly new pair of jeans. I decided to never use a ladder within 6 feet of the pointy ends ever again.

Well I never really found a use for the hooves or innards either but I don't feel bad that I never ate them.....perhaps mice, crows, and other opportunistic feeders did after I threw them out.

Took a look at your post despite the fact your on my ignore list Smitty...........

Hooves are great for the dogs, I make a mean Braunschweiger(liver sausage) the heart, kidneys and pancreas are all edible and MUST be salvaged under Alaskan LAW!


Now go hound someone else!

There's no way that I would cut the 5x5. I can find antler all day long that will make just as nice of a pen without cutting this one.
