I've spent the last two days working on truck. Weather was nice and I took advantage of it. It wasn't too bad. It only took 12hrs. That included all 4 rotors and pads all around. Might as well do it while it's apart. It drives so much better. No shaking and rolls smooth. I banged up my hands and acquired some cuts in the process, but other than that, it went well.
Now I should be able to work on a pen as time permits.

I drove it today and I just can't believe how much better it drives. The steering wheel used to have a shake and now that is completely gone. The tires used to hum and that is completely gone. And with the new brakes, it stops incredibly well.
Would I want to change the hubs on another vehicle? No, unless it was absolutely necessary. My arm and right hand are bruised and cut up. I couldn't see how bad it was yesterday, but over night, it got looking worse.
It would probably be much simpler on a non-4x4 or rear wheel drive. It wouldn't have an axle to deal with.

I feel much better about the family traveling in it now. That is worth the cost of the parts and all of my injuries.

I'm ready for something a little smaller... a pen perhaps.
