You might want to have a look. I went this route, bought washable version because live in high humidity area. Shop-vac is all have ever used though. Also got 10-pack poly bags from them. Can also use Huffy 32 gal trash bags too! I had to replace switch, cost more for shipping than cost of switch from HF.

I have a shopvac, but I've never bothered with the adapters to use with my tools. It gets used with my 8" CMS and my little ROS. Only because it attaches right up.

I did start using the HEPA bags with it though, MAN what a difference!
