Or a minute to late. Either way this was going to be my intermediate entry. I have been wanting to turn a big man pen and this is what I came up with. It is a chrome senior Gent from timber bits. I cast chrushed black walnut shells in PR colored with red russet pearl exe. The tubes are painted blank and I tined the expoxy blue in the right light areas on the pen have a really cool blue black under tone.

welcome to the disturber of the peace club 2013. I started it almost the 1st day of the month when my modified was outside the scope of regulation.:biggrin::wink::rolleyes:

Nice pen, I did one similar last year with leaves for a swap on another forum. almost same color and everything.

I like that crushed walnut shell it looks great. It is too cold in my basement for casting so I have to wait for summer for that. Nice job
