I dropped my bar of carnauba wax on the floor and it broke into more pieces than Humpty Dumpty. Is there a way I can melt it down and pour it into a mold or should I just purchase another bar?

Yes, you can use a double boiler. (Hot pan of water with metal bowl on top, and put the wax in there... it will liquify. and you can pour it into a mold of some sort.
When I make my food safe wax formula I do this with beeswax, mineral oil and a little bit of carnuaba.

Yes, you can melt it down and recast it. You will have to use a double boiler (a small sauce pan in a larger pot of boiling water).

Thanks guys.... I'll go see if I can repair it. Was not sure if the heat would do anything to the effectiveness or not.

Don't heat it too much it might get gritty.

Why can`t you use the broken pieces ?, mine broke in 3 pieces and i use it the way it is.
