I am still enjoying digging around in my scrap pile for bits & pieces, and making blanks, then pens.

Here's a shot of some blanks I made yesterday

The blank 4th from the right ended up as a Dayacom "Professor", and I think it looks pretty cool. It's Yellowheart, Padauk and Purple dyed Maple burl.

Check out the first two entries in the segmenting section of the library for some different challenges.

Very nice.

I like the way the Professor pen turned out. A nice combination of woods and colors.

Using those cut-offs can be an endless process but a lot of fun. It sure is a change of pace.

That's exactly it - a change of pace. And it can be fun to mix & match, and see what I get.
