My AAW Journal arrived a few minutes ago and what do my wondering eyes see but a wonderful article by our own Bruce Robbins, Master of the MidAtlantic Penturners Gathering! Great article on his, "Journey as a Penturner." This great guy is a guru of pen-making and his article should be read by every single one of us in IAP. Well Done, Bruce!! Philip

Thanks Phil - wasn't sure it was going to be published and then to my surprise my copy arrived.

It really started with the MAPG. I wrote Betty Scarpino, the editor, about putting us on the calendar of events. As an aside she asked if I knew anyone who could write a pen turning article as they felt our craft was not well represented in the magazine. So if any of you have a good article and want some publicity get out your pens and start writing. I'm sure it will be well received.
 
Congratulations Bruce on a very nice and well written article. A friend of mine sent me the AAW link on-line (he subscribes and I don't). Always great to read about a very talented IAP member.
 
My copy just arrived via a neighbor. It was delivered incorrectly ... evidently over a week ago. Read the article. Very nice job Bruce. I hope to see more from you....writing can be as addictive as pen turning. I enjoyed reading about your journey, which, by the way, many of us have had the opportunity to watch and experience your journey first hand as you've shared and helped here on IAP. Journey on, my friend. And, Thanks!
