Sunday night it was rainy, relatively warm for Dec. and pretty humid. I had a great time applying a CA finish to a few pens. Tonight the weather is cold and dry and the heat is on in the shop and I can't get a CA finish to dry to save my life. Was I just in the zone on Sunday, or does the level of humidity in the air have an effect on how fast CA dries?

Inquiring minds want to know:D

CA cures through a chemical reaction with hydroxl ions which are much more prevalent in a more humid environment. Dry climates or conditions will definitely lengthen the cure time.
