I used to be a pen turner and made many hundreds of turned items (mostly pens of course). A while back I purchased about $1,700 worth of stock from Woodcraft. The stock included hundreds of pens/pencil kits, blanks, kits, boards, etc.

I moved and never picked up the craft again. Now, the stock is sitting in my garage and I would really like to see someone make use of it.

Most of the pen kits are the gold titanium which you know never tarnishes.

I live in the Windsor, Ontario area if someone is interested.Cash and carry only. There is too much to ship.

$450 takes it all.

Just checked out the pics,what a deal.Too bad about shipping,cause it's something I would have tried to talk the wife into letting me get.Nice offering.
 
I have told this seller that I will take it all, but I Need the help of someone in the area to assist me as the seller does not accept Pay Pal. If anyone was in a position to have me send them the money, pick it up and mail it to Calgary, I Would be grateful. I would not expect you to do this without remuneration.

Hi all - I am truly not trying to be a hard ass. In fact, it's just the opposite. I was hoping to give someone a really good deal and hoping that someone would make use of the pen stock.

There is so much here that it would cost quite a bit to ship. Plus I have other items that I did not list that I was going to throw in just because I wanted to.

I was hoping that someone local would see that listing and come by and buy everything.

I can see now that this may not be the case and I might be coming across the wrong way.

I'm cool with PayPal I was just hoping to not give them my commission for once!

If you have the payee send the $$'s through PayPal/Personal/Money Owed, they pay the service charge to PayPal!

If its sent as a gift there are no fees as well. The only problem is the buyer is not covered if the seller doesn't send the product.
 
I sent you a PM yesterday and I haven't gotten a reply to it. I can pay cash and could have the items picked up by my BIL or daughter, I live in N.B. and am in Ont at least twice a year.

As for paying with Pay-Pal, all the seller has to do is jack up the price to cover the costs. By doing it that way, the buyer still has recourse if there is a problem with the sale and a dispute needs to be filed.

Saturday I had someone local who could pick the stuff up, but I haven't heard back from Brett since then... I'm assuming he got busy...
 
I think there are several of us with people in the area willing to pick up, Coy, but the OP has gone silent. My friend lives in Detroit just across the border, and she even has friends in the Windsor area who could do a quick pickup, but no response back from Brett on the idea.

I have sent at least 3 or 4 pms and have not heard back. Thanks to all those I have talked to. If I hear from him I will try to arrange a "pickup":cool: :biggrin:
