We have gone from a horrible winter to a seemingly early summer. The news just reported that we have broken our previous high temperature record (98 degrees in 2011) at 103 degrees! It looks like we could be in for a toasty summer, and I can't say that I wasn't wishing for it while it was "cold" this winter. This is a great day to NOT leave a CA finished pen in the car!!

Have a great day!

We are having some late spring storms rain in the valley and some snow in the Sierras and rain in the foothills. We are in a drought situation and any rain in the foothill and snow in the Mountains help fill the reservoirs which in turn will help our water supply this summer. How bad the drought really is depends on which politician or special interest group is speaking as always. We are on water rationing and can only water landscape twice a week I will let the front die if need be but try to keep the backyard going as that is where we spend out time during the summer I have almost every thing on drip and a small lawn so that I will save. There is a big water fight in California the North has the water and south wants it, it is that simple they already get a lot but they want more.

Rained Friday and overnight and some sowers today and then a warm up should be near 90 by mid week.

Ha!!! Friday night it snowed like crazy, the white F-150 in the driveway was camouflaged. Today...windy chilly and clear...for Nevada anyway!! Tom...we are about 2 hrs apart? If it's a west bound storm...I'll PM weather alerts your way!!

I just have to make sure all these plants don't fry! I guess the upshot is, spray a little oil on the squash and it just about sautées itself!

I can sympathize with the drought scenario. Our reservoirs were just about empty last year. That is why I'm now working on municipal wastewater reuse with my customer :)

They are speculating another record high today at 97 degrees. It's a good day to go climb ladders and stairs in the various process units of this lovely refinery :)

Brisk!

We had a hard freeze last night, so the fruit tree crop will take a hit. Currently 45 degrees with broken clouds with a bit of stratus moving in from the West.

Some of the ski resorts received another 18" of fresh powder this past weekend to add to the 407" already received this winter:eek:! Ski season will not end for some resorts until May 26. My son is loving it!
