I was a member many moons ago but due to inactivity my account is no longer active so . . .

I've been turning pens off and on for about 20 years and starting to get more active again as retirement is fast approaching. I'm getting set up to do some stabilizing and casting to play around with new ideas.

Thank you. The Patriot Guard Riders is one of the hardest things I've ever done. My first mission was for one of my son's high school classmates.

I can not imagine what you must go through during one of your missions. It's an honorable thing you and others of the Guard do. It's a sad thing that in a country like ours there is a need to have people like the Patriot Guard Riders. It sickens me when I see how some people disrespect the service of our fallen men and women and their families during a time of grief. Thankfully it's a very small percentage of the population.

I've stood the Flag Line and had some of the meanest, tough as nails looking Gunnery Sergeants come down the line with tears in his eyes and streaming down his face thanking each and every one of us for being there for one of his Marines. And then with that vision fresh in your mind you have to some how ride your bike in the escort or heading back home.
