How to set off the smoke detector....

This morning started to cook breakfast for the family. Placed the sausage on the skillet, get on the computer at the table and start reading IAP. Reading and daydreaming only to be abruptly interrupted by the sound of the smoke detector and the family giving you an evil glare. Sausage patties 0 ... IAP 1... it happens.....HAHA. Have a good day everyone....I know I will after I ventilate the house!

You could cast them in resin and make a pen out of them! :biggrin:

Might not even need to cast them if you charred them well enough!

We are required by Code to have one in the Kitchen. Wife has set if off twice frying bacon. We have a monitored Alarm system they us and Fire Dept because wife panicked and didn't shut the alarm off so Fire showed up first time they were in full turnouts and scared the H out of our young Granddaughter who was 2 at the time and sitting in her high chair. Second time I was home a was able to talk to Alarm Co. and use pass code to shut alarm off and cancel fire. Got a letter from city about false alarms. Moved alarm sensor to a better place so no false alarms, it was just to close to stove. Also got new alarm co (ADT) who knew what they were doing and all new sensors installed.

We have to keep ours it top shape in our house. My wife uses it for a timer.
