Although, on a positive note, I did get to use my first hand held cement saw. Thing was wicked. Messy but cool. All prepped for the plumber tomorrow.

Oh, and I blew up a blank. Grrrrrrrrr.....

I feel your pain my friend, there is always something needing replaced in my house as it gets older, renting starts to sound a better option! :frown::biggrin:

Next time I want to get some pen turning done I will just tell people I am going to dig up a chunk of the concrete to fix a water leak.

I am renting, but I made the mistake of telling the landlord I could do most repairs and upgrades myself. Now he buys materials and asks me "Hey, can you _____?". Not that I mind, because I have to live there and that way I know it's done right. And on a lot of things he does pay me labor!
