I swear I've read something on the subject here but now can't find it (I really did a few searches before posting).
I just turned a plain old cherry slimline and would really like to bring out the color of it. I though there was a trick of placing the wood in the sun or something that would darken the wood. If that is correct what kind of time frame is generally necessary. If this is correct I realize Arizona sun is a little stonger than some other places but in general. I'd rather have a bolder cherry color but am not above using a stain or wash if necessary.
Advice??
Thanks,
