Started to take pen apart.
Wack... off comes the cap/clip
wack... off comes the nib coupler
all right on a roll
wack... off come the end cap
yahoo !! one more to go the center band coupler
wack.....hm.....wack....hm.....hm WACK
WACK.WACK..WACK..WACK..WACK..WACK..WACK..WACK..WACK.
catch my breath...but everybody said it should be no problem

WACK..WACK..WACK..DAMN..OUCH..

OOPS !!

A perfect job one pen in a pile
8 pieces of metal and 2 pieces of wood......

oops forgot to put other piece of wood in here it is.

i found a use for the small bowl i turned...

i do have another set of tubes and another piece of wood.
but......i want my mama...

exact same thing happened to me when I tried to disassemble my emperor.

Had to wait for CS to sell the tubes separately.

lol... I stopped wacking after some wood broke off. Then i started to peel off the wood and tube to get to center band.

Thanks for the laugh! I was turning my second synthetic pen today (my first one turned out sweet!) everything was going along well when I caught the edge of my tool and WACK! I blew the end off of the top tube! [V] Coming here and reading this makes me feel better. At least I know something happens to all of us from time to time.
