how do you store blo?

I was curious how everybody stores their BLO. I buy it from lowes but would like to put it into a bottle like russ fairfield uses in his video. Does anybody else do this.

I use 4 oz plastic bottles with dropper caps from michaels or hobby lobby's paint dept. to store small quantities of almost all of the chemicals I use, including blo, acetone, sanding sealer, and H2O for sanding. Just be sure to clearly label all the bottles, they all look pretty much the same.

I use mine from a squeeze bottle bought at a craft store. Just pour it in from the qt can.

I bought a clear plastic ketchup/mustard bottle at Walmart that I got cheap. It has a cap on the bottle and I can refill it when I need to.

Save your empty CA bottles and rinse them out with acetone. I also keep a small container of acetone to soak the CA tips so that when I (or someone else) lets a tip get clogged I can switch out for a fresh one.

I fill a 4 oz. squeeze bottle. The rest stays in the can it came in.

I have an old plastic bottle that held chocolate syrup. Has a flip open cap and a small opening to control the amount coming out. Has worked for me for about two years now.

That's where mine is stored.

I did learn one trick. store the can upside down, (cap on the bottom) 2 things will happen. IF it gels it will be on the bottom of the can when you use it and 2 the cap will be easy to remove as it does not dry on the cap a essentially glue it to the can.

Absolutely nothing! I just like to be able to dispense small amounts accurately.

Nothing wrong with keeping it in the original container I just wanted to use something with a little more control. Thanks for the ideas guy's I just wasn't sure if the blo would react with the plastic or anything like that.
