Figure out what is wrong with my photo that I am trying to upload? here is my error message- Bad File - No File or File is too Large or of the Wrong MIME Type- I have a one year old Dell laptop and have not done any photos as I do not have any programs for editing the pics. I tried to find the old posts about what programs to use but they are gone. My pictures are only of some Alligator Jawbone blanks , and Axis Antler that I am trying to post for sale. Any advice will be most appreciated Thank you.

If size is a problem.

What resolution did you take the pictures at? If you shot them with say a 7 megapixel camera at the highest resolution then the pictures will be about 3 megabytes each. That is 6 times bigger than allowed. Try and reshoot with a lower camera resolution and you should be able to load without issue. 640x480 for example

Another alternative is Picasa 3 from google its a free photo editing program and you can upload your photos to the web andthe post thme from there.

GO to google download Picassa 3, import your pictures, select them, upload to album,(picassa will automatically creat an album) then in the text area you can either select the yellow moutain button above where your typing. copy the http of the picture and copy it into the tsxt box. Or type"
COLOR] [COLOR=
"
Example
URL]

I have put a space between the brackets and the http address so it wont show the picture.
If i omit the space

Assuming your laptop is running Windows you'll have MS Paint which comes with it, not the best by any means but if you open the file(s) in Paint you can click on 'Resize' and reduce the image to any size. I found I reduce most of my digital pictures to 25% or so for uploading to forums.

I will try the Picasa 3 route, thanks. I have not even noticed MS paint on my laptop, but haven't looked either. Thanks for the help. After I do all of this just to sell the Axis antler and Gator blanks they won't sell. That would be Mother Nature. At least then I may be able to post a picture of a couple items that I have done.
