I learned of this forum from another forum (formerly BT3Central, now SawDustZone) when I first started turning pens. It has far exceeded my expectations.

Man that was back in 2009. I can't remember last week. I do know that this has been a wealth of information and knowledge for me and has advanced my abilities and skills to far beyond where I would be had this not existed. Now what was the question again?

I was selling on eBay and had two or three customers recommend this place. I was selling only slimline pen kits then.

I was trying to find information on pen turning. Googled, found this site and the rest is history. A group of helpful people who have been very kind to me.

I learned of this forum from another forum (Texasbowhunter.com) when I first started talking about turning pens and other things. Several of their members suggested this place and it blew my expectations out of the water. I have learned so much here

I watched a bunch of youtube videos about penturning, including some really good ones by Capt Eddie. One of the videos that interested me was where someone created a wood and aluminum (pop can) Celtic Knot design blank. I went ahead and googled for more Celtic Knot pens and that's how I ended up here viewing threads in the segmenting forums.

I was a member of the same forum and enjoyed it immensely. Between it and a number of woodworking forums I had no time for more but Marla said this was a good one so I looked. That was enough to reel me in.
