All I keep seeing every time I open my mail is a news flash about the 'epic' storm in Alaska.

I have friends in Nome. I am very concerned for them.
Nome? Nope-never saw them before. Hope all is well.

Its HYPE! Nome is in the center of the storm and NOAA is not predicting more than a slightly strong winter blow. Wind speed of 40-50 mph and 4-8 inches of snow..........hell its not even that cloudy today! I fly out at 11:37 tonight, I will be stunned if the plane gets delayed.

Total accumulations for the storm are predicted to be 10-18 inches, NOAA just uped the predicted wind speeds to 70mph. They are going to take a hit but this is not as unusual as the media would have you believe. They are on the barring strait, 60mph winds blow all winter up that way.
