Honduras rosewood burl Emperor

Recently after winning the IAP pretty wood contest, I received a gift voucher to use at George's bits of timber, a great timber specialist in Australia and a lovely guy. 'Robutacion' as you know him, sent me some stunning blanks which deserved the absolute best kits. This piece was a lighter shaded hrb, but I just loved the sapwood contrast. The amber hues blend well with the gold accents in the emperor, in my opinion. Finished with 3 medium and 10 thin coats of CA.
