Same wood as my carry Sierra...and it looks just like that!!! As nice a job as you did Randy, I'd caution you that HRB cracks like nothing else!!! I've had "dry stuff" sitting around for years in pen blank sizes and the stuff cracks like crazy! The the CA finish holds up great but they crack several weeks down the road. I'm sure other have other opinions and results, but that was mine. Yours sure looks nice!
 
I have had HRB crack on 4 of my pens but have had/sold dozens of them that did not crack. on the few that did crack was where the grain was really odd or tortured looking? I even re finished a cigar pen that I made and it cracked again. I have made and sold probably over 150 HRB pens and have not had any returned.
Nice pen by the way. HRB is my favorite wood.
