home made chatter tool

Has anybody built anything like the Sorby chatter tool. Seems pretty simple I am sure someon here has built somthing like it.

Take an old band saw blade, grind of the teeth, shape the end to your preference, mount it in a piece of wood (handle), you have a chatter tool. A little over simplified but I think you get the idea.
