Holm Oak

Anyone ever turn a pen from Holm Oak? Its an evergreen oak and is found mostly in the Mediterranean region. I have a few pen blanks but was looking for some larger pieces for other projects.

keith, I think your in mcuh better shape and chance to get your hands on that kind of Oak than anyone of us her ein the US. I have never heard of it. Can you post a pic. of your bkank, please?

I tried to upload photos of those pen blanks last night but while googling holm oak somewhere along the line I got a trojan on my laptop. My internet security should have blocked it but hadn't automatically updated to remove this new virus.
