I saw Ken's beautiful Christmas tree he just posted so I thought I would show a couple things I make for the holidays and have sold at my craft shows in years past. Now I just give them out especially if going over someone's house for dinner or just drinks for the holidays. They basically are center pieces for tables or just Knick knacks things.

For Thanksgiving the turkey and for Christmas the tree.

I make various designs as you see but the principle is the same. Most are completly around the design with the napkins but the ones like the turkey and pheasant are just half way because it is the tail only. I cut them on the scrollsaw and use Baltic Birch plywood. The ring has slots in it to hold the napkins. when I sell them at a show I give the customers many choices to select colors of napkins and then later they can always use their own. Right now these are the best photos I have of the backs. i left those napkins out to show the workings. but they would circle the entire design.
