Oh man these are wonderful! Very creative group of folks around here!
I have seen tons of 4 wheelers hauled out this way but this was the first plane. Our area is very popular with private pilots, the mountains and ice field make for a spectacular flight thats close to home. A few weeks back a father and son had to ditch in the mountains behind our house. The terrain is very difficult and the fact they made it out unharmed is a real testiment to there toughness! Seriously the fact they survived a forced landing didn't surprise me, them walking out without injury is stunning! My back yard is sheep and goat country, its challenging for me and I have many years of mountaineering experiance!
Anyway looks like they got there plane out.
