Didja know.............

that the HOLLOW eggs represent Christ's empty tomb?

That the German's brought over the transitional East Bunny who delivered HOLLOW CHOCOLATE Easter Eggs to Christian Children?

There is no Biblical reference to the Easter Bunny. Oh well, I like the chocolate eggs and this story.

I was skiing in Canada in middle March. They were putting out Easter chocolate candy.

Took a closer look at one chocolate figure..... Hockey player:eek:

The history of Easter is very interesting (as well as Christmas) and other holidays. As a Christian myself, I have always had interests in these traditions. Thanks for sharing this.

We tried having an Easter egg hunt with the kids at church using empty eggs to remind them of the empty tomb. We only did that one year. They understood the symbolism but still wanted candy.

iT WAS AN HONEST ATTEMPT. I'll bet they will remember, for what ever reason.
