The bark inclusion came as a bit of a shock. At the bottom, a good-sized crater. I used some new stuff (to me, that I just bought to see what it was like). Starbond, Black Medium-Thick CA Glue. Worked out great!

Very nice bowl. The bark sets against the light wood.

Hickory is a beautiful wood with very nice grain. AND, if it doesn't work out, it sure makes great flavor on a grill for steaks, hamburgers and BBQ!
